Dublin Bus Redesign

A reliable, efficient and affordable public bus service is strategically important for Dublin City and it must be protected.

Mary thanks everyone who signed her petition calling for the retention of and investment in local bus services in Dublin Central.

Mary included the petition with her submission calling for the retention of local, accessible and affordable public bus service for Dublin Central.

Mary’s submission specifically called for the free bus pass to be protected, guarantee of a local bus service for Cabra, Ashington, Drumcondra and East Wall and investment in the bus service to meet capacity demands.

The bus is the only local public transport alternative to the private car  available to people of all ages in Dublin City.   The bus is a highly valued public transport service that must be protected and enhanced.

Mary will continue to work to achieve an improved bus service for the people of Dublin Central.
