Martin Savage 2019

As she has done all her life, on December 22, 2019 Mary and her Dad, Dr Dermot Fitzpatrick, joined the family and relatives of Martin Savage to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of his death. 

Martin Savage was a young man who gave his life for Irish freedom and independence.  He demonstrated great bravery, courage and determination.

Mary used her speech to call for brave and courageous action to solve modern day crisis of climate change, housing and health.  You can read Mary’s speech HERE.
