Following representations made by Mary in respect of complaints of speeding on Clonliffe Road, DCC’s Transport Advisory Group conducted a speed survey on the road recently.

Feedback from the Transport Advisory Group was that the average speeds along the road were well within the speed limit.

The group also concluded that the road contains many parked vehicles and mature trees which create natural traffic calming which encourage driver caution.

The Transport Advisory Group, therefore, did not recommend Traffic Calming at the above location.
