This week there were six commercial and four domestic planning applications in Dublin Central. Of note is the proposed construction of a large handball facility by the GAA on Ardilaun Road as follows:
- The GAA are seeking permission to demolish the current turnstile building at 1-8 St Andrew’s House and construct a 2 storey-handball centre including 7 handball courts, community centre and restaurant. Permission is also sought to construct a 2 storey museum building including office space adjacent to the handball facility.
All plans can be inspected online here or in person by appointment to the Planning Department, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8 where a staff member will be available for assistance and explanation.
