St Finbar’s Court

Great progress is being made on 46 new homes for the elderly at St Finbars Court in Cabra. The homes are scheduled to be completed before the end of this year.

Under Dublin City Council’s Regeneration Programme, St Finbars Court was identified for regeneration as the existing complex did not meet modern day space standards, accessibility and thermal comfort. It was built in the late 1940’s by Dublin Corporation and consisted of 29 homes (28 of which were bedsits) and one community room.

This scheme will provide 46 new homes and one community room. There will be 44 one bedroom and 2 two bedroom homes.  All homes are universally designed and communal gardens will be developed as part of the public realm around the complex.

Housing for All is delivering homes locally to eleimante homelessness and provide housing security.
