Acting Leader in Seanad

It was great to secure unamaous agreement for the Order of Business on Thursday.

Order of business is when the Leader of the Seanad proposes the business for that day, the order in which it is to be taken and the arrangements for taking each item of business.

Order of Business can be unpredicatble and contentious but it is essential the Seanad Leader gains agreement to the proposed Order of Business to ensure our work is properly planned, prioritised and every voice is heard.
