In August 2017 Dublin City Council implemented new traffic restrictions on Millmount Ave at Ferguson and Walsh Road, Drumcondra aimed at traffic calming this residential area. The restrictions have been introduced on a six month trial basis.
I have received feedback both for and against the road closure. While roads in the direct vicinity are experiencing less traffic and all the associated benefits significant traffic chaos is being reported on roads as far away as Mobhi road, Whitworth road, Gracepark road and Griffith avenue.
