I recently asked Dublin City Council to outline what action it had undertaken to deal with the road flooding problem that occurs at the junction of the Navan Road and Kinvara Avenue almost every time we get a shower of rain. It happens right beside a very busy pedestrian crossing point and this location is very dangerous when it freezes over during frosty conditions. In reply, Dublin City Council stated, “the gullies at this location were cleaned on 3rd December. One requires to be pressured cleaned which will be carried out in the next week or so”. I hope this improves the situation but please let me know if the problem re-occurs. Mary

Japan
