Despite opposition from Sinn Féin and Independents and working with Fianna Fáil, Green, Labour and Social Democrat City Councillors, Mary succeeded in gaining approval for the biggest housing project in more than nine years in Dublin City at O’Devaney Gardens.
The plan will deliver a mix of private, social and affordable homes. The key benefits are outlined in the video below.
Following approval of the deal by Councillors, Dublin City Council has signed a development agreement which requires the developer to seek planning permission within six months.
Mary will continue to work with local residents to ensure the highest quality mixed tenure residential and community development is delivered on O’Devaney.
