Croke Park testing

Following a high-level request from the HSE yesterday, Croke Park is to become a ‘drive-thru’ facility for testing for Covid-19 for designated appointments from later today.  This will not be a walk-up service.

  • Testing is by appointment only and arranged through a GP
  • Testing will only be of people in their vehicle
  • Testing will be open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm
  • An average of 8 cars attending every 15 minutes is expected

It is envisaged that cars will arrive at Croke Park via Sackville Avenue.  People will be processed in the outer Cusack carpark before driving through the service tunnel where tests will be carried out.  Cars will then exit the stadium via St. Joseph’s Avenue.  At no stage will visitors leave their cars.

Croke Park have given access to the stadium’s Davin & hotel carparks for use by Mater Hospital staff.  Hours of operation will vary but the carparks will be staffed from 7am-10pm each day.
