DART+West Update

Mary has received an update from Irish Rail further extending the Public Consultation to October 6th this year.

They also informed her there will be further Webinars on the following dates:

  • Residents from Connolly/Spencer Dock – Ashtown area: Monday 27th September 19:00hrs 
  • Residents from Coolmine – Castleknock area: Tuesday 28th September 19:00hrs
  • Residents from Clonsilla – Maynooth/M3 Parkway area: Thursday 30th September 19:00hrs

Mary has written to the CEO of Irish Rail asking him to engage directly with the owners of Ashtown Stables, whose family run business has been put under Compulsory Purchase Order to try and find a solution that will allow the project progress without losing such an important community amenity and family run business.

Mary raised this issue again under Order of Business in the Seanad.
