DART+West Update

The railway order has been lodged July 29th to upgrade the existing Maynooth train line to a DART service.

Changes to the line include:

40Km of electrification of the Maynooth and M3 Parkway lines to the city centre, this will allow a significant increase in the amount of trains able to use the line.

Construction of a new station at Spencer Dock with direct interchange with the Luas Red Line.

New electric DART carriages.
