Phase 3 of the Royal Canal Greenway project is now underway. €5 million has been allocated to this phase of the project through the Active Travel Investment Grants.

This project will provide a high quality footpath and cycle track from North Strand to Phibsborough. Phase 3 of the project goes from Newcomen Bridge to Cross Guns Bridge. 

It will include an accessible ramp, a new community plaza and a foot and cycle bridge across the canal. The project is due to be completed in 2025
