Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire

After two decades of waiting, the construction of Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire’s new school is finally set to go ahead. This is a momentous occasion for the staff, parents and pupils of Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire!

It was deeply disappointing for the whole school community when the project was recently put “on hold” by the Department of Public Expenditure. Mary is delighted that the Minister for Expenditure has responded to her calls to release the funds for Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire’s new fit-for-purpose school on Dominick Street.

The construction of Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire’s new, modern facility will provide a better learning environment for current and future students and will also be an important investment in the future of the Irish language and culture.

Mary will continue to work closely with the school during the construction phase and looks forward to the commencement of work on the new premises.
