Adaptation Grant Changes

Adaptation Grants help pay to improve homes for people with disabilities. Thanks to Minister Darragh O’Brien for responding positively to Mary’s representations for a review of the grants.

Grant limits have increased by 30% and Income thresholds increased by 25%. The means test has changed to just assessing the homeowner and their spouse in owner occupied housing, and tenant and their spouse in private rented.

These changes will help the most vulnerable to live fuller and more independent lives. Learn more about the changes HERE.
