Anti-Social behaviour on the Royal Canal

Mary is a big fan and champion of the Royal Canal, a fantastic amenity at the heart of Dublin Central.  From when she was first elected in 2004 Mary has worked for and supported the expansion of a greenway from Spencer Dock to Ashtown, the establishment of Cabra Kayak Club, Cabra for Youth Community allotment garden and Cabra for Youth programmes on the canal.   From early summer Mary has raised concerns with the Gardaí over anti-social behaviour on the canal.  In response, the Gardaí have committed to increased patrols.  We can all help to keep the canal safe for all to enjoy by using it and reporting any suspicious or anti-social behaviour by dialling 999 – please don’t wait for someone else to report.
