Apartment Defects

For years it has been incredibly stressful for home owners living in apartments and duplexes with building defects. But finally there is some really good news.

A new interim remediation scheme for apartments and duplexes impacted by fire safety issues has been opened. The scheme fully funds emergency defect repairs for apartments and duplexes constructed from 1991 to 2013, ensuring immediate fire safety improvements. Applications are now open to Owner Management Companies and you can apply HERE.

Mary has worked closely with owners affected by apartment defects. This a really important step in helping apartment owners to make their homes safe. Full remedial works will be funded under a statutory scheme next year.
