14th Sept 2010: Mary asked Dublin City Council if they were aware that a manhole cover at the junction of Carlingford Road and Drumcondra Road lower is loose and the noise is causing great disturbance to residents in the area? She also asked as to when the manhole will be secured and the noise ceased?

Response: This was inspected and found to be a Drainage manhole. Drainage Division have temporarily tarred the manhole to reduce the noise being created & plan to replace the cover within one week. Contact: Ronan Connolly, Road Maintenance Tel: 222 2576
