Waterways Ireland has drafted revisions to the Byelaws governing the Grand & Royal Canals Navigation.

Waterways Ireland’s intention is to make our waterways safer, protect those using waterways, blueways and greenways and continue to provide recreational experience.

Any changes must be environmentally, economically and socially sustainable. A second phase of public consultation on Waterways Irelands draft revisions is now open. Submission close on the 26th of February To make a submission and to find more information click HERE.
