Cllr Mary Fitzpatrick speaking at the Fianna Fáil European Election Manifesto Launch

Speaking at the launch of Fianna Fáil’s European Election Manifesto, Dublin candidate Cllr Mary Fitzpatrick said “As an MEP I will be a member of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. I will work with this group towards securing a retrospective recapitalisation of our domestic banks; I will champion economic growth for our city and focus on job creation for Dublin.

The Fianna Fáil Group Leader for Dublin, Cllr Fitzpatrick continued “A vote for Sinn Fein or Independent candidates in the European Elections is a wasted vote. As part of marginalized groups in the European Parliament that have no significant influence, no voice on a European platform to fight for the people of Dublin”.

Cllr Mary Fitzpatrick continued “As an MEP I will bring experience of working in start-ups and international businesses for 20 years. In my role as a Dublin City Councillor I represent the people of Dublin on a wide range of critical issues to households including crime, taxation and employment. I will represent Dublin City and County on a European platform to deliver a fair economic and social recovery for my hometown.
