Connaught Street Dereliction, Update

For more than a decade Mary has campaigned to get Dublin City Council to tackle dereliction in our community.

Finally, in July 2019 Dublin City Council confirmed to Cllr Mary Fitzpatrick that it is finalising acquisition of 19 & 21 Connaught Street, Dublin 7.

The Transfer of Ownership to DCC is expected to be finalised by September 2019. Refurbishment is expected to take six to eight months and ready for allocation to suitably qualified applicants. The acquisition and refurbishment is funded by the Government’s Buy and Renew Scheme.
