Connaught Street Update

Early in 2017 Mary asked Dublin City Council if they would re-surface or repair Connaught Street as it was in very poor condition.

Dublin City Council advised Mary of the following:

  • DCC Road Maintenance Services have included Connaught Street resurfacing works in the 2017 major resurfacing works programme.
  • It is envisaged that all major works (including Connaught Street) will be substantially completed by October 2017.
  • The resurfacing will be carried out continuously between the junction with Phibsborough Road and the junction with Dowth Avenue.

Mary was delighted to see the road resurfacing works commenced in July and will be fully completed by the end of August 2017.
