Croke Park Community

Over the course of last year I worked with the local Croke Park Community, the Handball Center, Croke Park Management and the GAA to try and find an agreement for the re-development of the existing handball and community center. The redevelopment of the center has great economic, employment, sporting and community potential for the area.

It was very disappointing that an agreed solution couldn’t be found and that the matter was ultimately referred to An Bord Pleanala. I have been informed by an Bord Pleanala that the determination of the above appeal did not happen on 18th Jan as expected but that an Inspector’s report has been received and that the file is at Board Level. Most cases are decided within a short period of their being formally cobsidered for the first time at Board level. Lets hope we get some good news on this matter soon. More feedback as I get it.
