Dalymount Park

The large scale sports infrastructure fund is now open. Mary has urged Dublin City Council to make an application to the fund to secure funding for the redevelopment of Dalymount. Applications close on July 1st.

In 2015, Mary was proud to support Dublin City Council’s purchase of the home of Irish football, Dalymount Park. Mary has worked closely with Bohemians Football Club to see the stadiums redevelopment realised.

The redevelopment plan will bring the capacity of the stadium to 8,000, rotate the pitch to a North/South axis and installation of a sand based grass pitch. There will also be a new community facility over two floors which includes a multi functional community room and community gym. The timeline for completion is the start of the 2027 season.
