An Garda Siochana and the Tolka Area Partnership, of which I am a board member, has launched a new pilot scheme for the Drumcondra and Glasnevin area. This service will send text alerts messages advising on matters relevant to the area. The service is free to all residents in the area. You can register by texting the word TAP to 087 276 7956. I encourage all local residents to sign-up for the service we will monitor its use and if effective look to extend it to other parts of the constituency.
