Dublin Bus Security

Mary has long championed safety on our public transport system. In reponse to Mary’s surveys on crime and anti social behaviour, Dublin Bus have introduced a pilot programme of security personnel on their fleet.

The pilot program will see the introduction of two dedicated mobile security units, one deployed on the northside of Dublin and the other on the southside. These teams will operate daily during peak travel hours, from 14:00 to 02:00 Sunday through Thursday, and 16:00 to 04:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Well done to Dublin Bus on taking this proactive measure to ensure passenger and staff safety.
