Dublin Gay Pride Parade

I will be joining Ogra Fianna Fail tomorrow for the Dublin Gay Pride Parade which starts at the Garden of Remembrance on Parnell Square at 2pm.

In the tradition of a true republican party Fianna Fáil has had a ground-breaking record of achievement for the LGBT community, from the decriminalisation of homosexuality in 1993 to the Civil Partnership Act 2010.

There is still a lot to do if we are to achieve full equality in our society but a good turn-out tomorrow will put pressure on our political leaders to take the issue seriously and to deliver greater equality in society. Mary
