Housing is one of our biggest personal expenses. A decade of under-supply, war in Ukraine, and raw material shortages have led to double-digit construction inflation and driven up housing prices. However, the government has introduced several supports that can allow first-time buyers to avail of up to €100,000 towards the price of their new home.
Myself, Minister for Housing, Darragh O’Brien TD, and financial advisor Paul Merriman of AskPaul.ie held a webinar to discuss these supports, who qualifies, how to apply and answered questions from attendees. If you missed the webinar you can view the recording of it HERE.
