Mary welcomes Tanaiste Micheál Martin’s announcement that Ireland will intervene in the case initiated by South Africa against Israel under the Genocide Convention at the International Court of Justice.

We need an immediate and permanent ceasefire, release of hostages, sustained humanitarian aid and a two state solution. The inhumanity must stop.
