Mary has received an update from the City Parks Department regarding the trees on Griffith Avenue:
A survey of the trees has commenced in the middle of March which will take 2-3 weeks to complete. The survey has identified some of the trees require essential pruning works, which has commenced.
There has also been a small number of trees identified to be in significant decline that will need to be replaced. No trees will be removed until the survey is completed, the Parks service is committed to replacing these trees as soon as possible.
Once the survey is complete a list of the trees that will need to be replaced will be circulated to Councillors.
