Hendron’s SHD

A Strategic Housing Development application for planning permission on the Hendron site at the corner of Western Way and Dominick Street has been lodged with An Bord Pleanala.

The proposal is for a 280 bedroom short-term, co-living scheme including, meeting rooms, recreation and outdoor amenity.  There is no social housing element to this development. The proposal provides for protection of the original Hendrons building at 37-40 Dominick Street which was previously added to the record of protected structures by DCC in January 2020.  Full plans for the development can be found at the HERE.  The application was made on December 7th 2020 and the last day for observations to An Bord Pleanála is January 19, 2021.

If you have any queries in relation to this development please don’t hesitate to get in touch mary.fitzpatrick@oireachtas.ie.
