I was delighted to attend the launch and wholeheartedly support the ISPCC #InvestInChildhood goals for those contesting General Election 2016. As a mother of three and a founding member of Cabra4Youth, I understand the importance of placing children at the heart of every decision I make. Dublin Central is an economically, socially and ethnically diverse constituency and I am committed to ensuring that no child and no person gets left behind as the economy recovers.
Congratulations to the children and young people who spoke today at the launch. Their words were inspiring and I look forward to working together with them and for them to deliver these goals in the next Dáil.
