Mary has called on the Minister for the Office of Public Works to announce a date for the commencement of works on the Moore Street National Monument site at 14-17 Moore Street.

Mary has actively supported the Moore Street Traders and relatives of 1916 by advocating for the restoration of the National Monument, the establishment of a museum to commemorate the events of 1916, and the revitalization of the street market.
