The Planning and Development Bill 2023 has come to the Seanad. The bill provides new and updated legislation that will deliver infrastructure, enhance natural assets and amenities and preserve, protect and improve our environment.
The bill will also bring increased certainty to the planning consent processes, for both the public and stakeholders involved in the delivery of key infrastructure, particularly large scale housing and renewable energy projects.
