Polling Day

Today is the day the voters of Dublin Central will elect four people to represent us in the next Dail.

Thank you for the kindness, encouragement and support shown to me and my team during the campaign.

Over the course of the campaign I have tried to meet and talk to as many constituents as possible. Unfortunately I couldn’t get to talk to everybody and I am sorry if we didn’t get to meet.

I have worked full time representing your interests locally since 2004. I have worked to the best of my ability and can point to real deliverables for our community. This is a national election and therefore it is not just on my local track record that I am seeking your support but also on my international business experience.

In the last recession, like many others, I had to emigrate. I spent more than 15 years working for start-up and multi-national companies in New York, London and Dublin. This gives me real experience of what is involved in creating, running and managing business. I am a mother with three young children. So my broad life and solid business experience gives me real insight into what our country needs to make a sustainable recovery.

I am honest, hardworking and capable. I am seeking election to the Dáil to play my part in changing Irish politics and restoring our economy.

The polls indicate I will be fighting for the last seat in this constituency. I need your support. With your support I will make a difference.

I am appealing to you and yours for your No. 1 vote or next highest preference.

All the best, Mary.
