Mary was delighted to deputise for the Lord Mayor and to join with 1916 relatives and Moore Street traders at the Save 16 Moore Street workshop in Dublins Mansion House today.
This campaign aims to protect the historic Moore Street 1916 Battlefield, described by the National Museum as the most important and significant modern Irish historical site still intact.
Mary has long advocated for government funding to restore and develop the National Monument so that the birthplace of our republic and Dublin city’s oldest market trading street is restored and re-established as one of Dublin’s primary attractions. Click HERE to read more.
