Mary was delighted to accept on behalf of Taoiseach Micheál Martin a petition with 10,225 signatures calling for an end of homelessness. The petition was organised and presented by Focus Ireland outside Leinster House on May 6th 2021.
Homelessness is still a significant problem and Government has allocated €220million to prevent homelessness, provide emergency and long term accommodation for homeless people.
