Mary joined the Taxi Drivers at their demonstration in Merrion Street to show her support for their demand for a sustainable future.
Taxis are essential public transport, enhanced sector specific Covid supports urgently required to support taxi industry.
Mary previously raised this issue as a commencement matter in the Seanad, and also secured commitment from the Taoiseach that he will consider specific supports for Taxi sector at a recent meeting with representatives from the sector and the Taoiseach.
