For more than 30 years Tommy McGregor has dug, weeded, planted and maintained a long stretch of green area on Blackhorse Avenue from Darling Estate as far as the Hole in the Wall.
Mary was delighted to be invited to join residents who organised a celebration, with support from Dublin City Council, to mark Tommy’s years of voluntary work for our community.
On behalf of the Lord Mayor of Dublin Mary presented a certificate of appreciation from the City of Dublin to Tommy for the invaluable contribution he makes to the local area and our city. Thanks to Tommy’s efforts thousands of motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, locals and visitors passing journeys are enhanced every day.
