Cabra for Youth 10 years old

In 2008 along with Joey Furlong, Niall Counihan, Paul O’Farrell and Annette O’Reilly, Mary co-founded Cabra for Youth with the support of City of Dublin Youth Service Board, Department of Justice, Dublin City Council and the Gardaí.

Cabra for Youth is a not for profit, voluntary, Youth and Justice Youth Diversion Project dedicated to supporting the development of all young people in Cabra.

Cabra for Youth has grown over the past ten years and engaged more than five hundred young people in “needs led” programmes at their base in John Paul Park and on the Royal Canal between Cross Guns and Broombridge.

On July 19th 2018 Cabra for Youth celebrated its 10th year of service to young people in Cabra with a celebration in the Boggies.

On behalf of the Board of Management, Mary thanked the staff, volunteers, young people and supporting organisations before launching Cabra for Youth’s Strategic Plan 2018 -2022 which sets out our objectives for the next four years.
