Today Aung San Suu Kyi will arrive in Dublin today. Among her engagements will be a meeting with President Michael D Higgins. I hope the good weather holds for a concert in her honour organised by Amnesty International in the Grand Canal Theatre and receive Amnesty’s Ambassador of Conscience Award. There is a great line up for the concert and everybody is invited to come along and welcome Aung San Su Kyi to Dublin.
