Faussagh House Dereliction

Mary continues to pursue a resolution to the abandoned and derelict site to the rear of the Faussagh House on Faussagh Avenue

Mary recently asked the Chief Executive of Dublin City Council for an update on action DCC is taking to address the dereliction and if DCC will consider purchasing the site.

In reply Dublin City Council advised Mary that the DCC Waste Management have taken action to address the illegal dumping, the site has been entered on the derelict sites register and the owner states it will commence construction in 4Q19. See the full response HERE.

Mary has told DCC that continued dereliction on the site is unacceptable, the illegal dumping must be cleared and DCC should purchase the site to provide Social and Affordable homes instead of co-living or student accommodation.
