Cabra Community College

Having actively supported the campaign for a co-educate, non-denominational secondary school in Dublin 7, Mary was delighted to join the City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB) and Educate Together (ET) to announce that will work together to operate Cabra Community College as a co-educate, non-denominational secondary school according to their shared ethos.

Their aim is to ensure the provision of the highest quality, co-educational and equality based educational experience for students. This experience will be built on the principles of equality, community, inclusion and democracy.

Planning has commenced on the emerging partnership and it is envisaged that the process of transitioning from an ETB school to a partnership school will take a period of 2 years.

Arrangements are being put in place to ensure the success of this patronage partnership agreement to support students, staff and the parents with an official commencement at school level planned for September 2020. Cabra Community College is currently enrolling for September 2020.

Mary encourages students and their families to go along to the opening events taking place on Thursday 12th of September from 18.00 – 20.00 and Friday from 09.30-15.30
