DIT Development in Cabra

DIT has recently acquired the former Hanay site on Broombridge Road in Cabra.  DIT intends to develop the site as an additional sports facility close to Grangegorman.  In order to develop the site DIT is preparing plans for an all weather floodlit sports pitch and indoor sports, recreational and educational facilities which will require planning permission.  Before submitting a planning application DIT is consulting with local residents and business owners in the area.  They have put their proposed plans on display in Cabra Library from the 6th to the 16th of March.  On Weds 14th of March from 10am 8pm DIT staff will be in the library to explain the plans and answer any questions.  I would encourage people to go have a look at the plans and if you have any suggestions to make please drop me an email.  Thanks, Mary
