Dublin Litter Plan 2020

Like most people living in Dublin Central Mary is very proud of our area and frustrated with the persistent littering and illegal dumping that takes place.

Mary is working with DCC to re-introduce a municipal domestic waste collection service in the city and has renewed her call for the introduction of a bin waiver for low income families.

As part of her submission to Dublin City Council’s review of its Litter Management Plan Mary calls for segregated on-street bins, greater enforcement of waste management in rental accommodation, action on dog excrement, alternate side of the street parking to facilitate better cleaning of streets with no off-street parking and a refund deposit scheme for glass and cans.
