EU Nature Restoration Law

Mary welcomes the approval of the EU Nature Restoration Law. The Nature Restoration Law presents significant opportunities to support the achievement of nature, water and climate objectives. Completion of the Nature Restoration Plan will be aligned with the opening of the Government’s €3.15bn Climate and Nature Fund in 2026.

The law was supported by Fianna Fáil’s MEP’s and will help increase biodiversity, improve natural habitats, and limit global warming. It harnesses the power of our ecosystems to ensure a thriving future for all.

Well done to everyone who worked to get the law approved!
