Housing for All

The Government has published their ambitious and radical plan to ensure all our Citizens have a secure and affordable home.

Housing For All gives Local Authorities powers to increase supply of social and affordable housing, to use state owned lands to deliver housing, to reverse vacancy and dereliction, to eradicate homelessness and to support local employment.

Housing for All is a radical, realistic and costed plan, underpinned by legislation and record multi-annual State investment.

Housing For All will help all our citizens have access to affordable, high-standard housing – to purchase or rent – located in the right places.

Housing For All is an ambitious state led plan to increase housing supply of all types in the short-term and measures to ensure we have a sustainable housing system into the future.

Housing for All is a departure from the previous, failed, market let approach to housing and will deliver secure affordable homes for generations to come.
