Luas Extension to Finglas

Mary welcomes the announcement from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and the National Transport Authority (NTA), of the Emerging Preferred Route for the proposed extension of the Luas Green Line from its current terminus in Broombridge to Finglas.

The Emerging Preferred Route for the proposed extension of the Luas Green Line is approximately 4km long with four stops. It is proposed that a park and ride facility is developed and additional tram storage at the existing Broombridge depot is provided.

The new Luas Green Line stops are proposed at:

Public consultation on the Emerging Preferred Route will run from 28 July to 17 September.  Feedback is invited on the following:

  • the Emerging Preferred Route for the proposed extension
