Men’s and Women’s sheds

The Department of Rural and Community Development operates a community enhancement capital grant scheme through the Dublin City Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) and Dublin City Council. 

The Department has announced €0.5 million to be ring-fenced for small capital grants for Men’s and Women’s sheds. A total of €39,267 is available for Men’s and Women’s sheds in the Dublin City Council administrative area.

The Dublin City LCDC is now inviting applications for funding from Men’s Sheds in the Dublin City Council administrative area that are affiliated to the Irish Men’s Sheds Association

Applications from Women’s Sheds that are not affiliated to any other parent organisation and have an appropriate organisation structure in place are also invited.

Sheds can apply for funding to purchase equipment or to undertake small-scale capital projects or works.

The closing date for submissions is Thursday 22nd August, 2019, at 5pm.
