Neurological Rehabilitation

Mary supports Neurological Alliance Ireland’s campaign ‘Patients Deserve Better’. All nine CHO areas must be delivered which offers critical support for patients by providing them with improved physical and psychological wellbeing along with greater independence

Mary recently visited An Saol’s Neurological Rehabilitation Day Centre with Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin North-West, Paul McAulliffe. An Saol restores dignity, respect and quality of life to people who have acquired a severe brain injury and their work truly is inspiring. Neurological rehabilitation like this helps individuals with neurological conditions or injuries, recover or manage their symptoms, function better, and improve their quality of life.

Mary is working to secure neurological rehabilitation like An Saol’s on a permanent footing and to replicate this model in other areas.
